Hermes Agent: Use Cases After Two Months: Sammy and Calvin from Open Source Hong Kong will share real-world uses of Hermes Agent and what they’ve learned.

Agentic AI Workshops 2026 by Women Techmakers Hong Kong
Women Techmakers Hong Kong is running a series of online workshops on using agentic AI for coding, everyday productivity and deploying solutions. Sessions take place on 6, 16 and 23 October 2026.
The first workshop, Agentic Coding Workshop: Build Your Web App from Scratch, is on Tuesday, 6 October. Start with an idea and leave with a working web app. Taeko will build a daily well-being journal app live as a demo while you build your own app from your own idea.

AWS Community Day Hong Kong 2026
AWS Community Day Hong Kong returns on Saturday, 24 October 2026, with Open Source Hong Kong as a proud supporter. The day includes more than 20 expert sessions on production GenAI, multi-agent frameworks and enterprise cloud migration. There are also hands-on activities, such as an interactive Agentic AI mystery game.

PGConf.Asia 2026 Returns to Hong Kong
PGConf.Asia 2026, a regional PostgreSQL conference, takes place in Hong Kong on 17–18 November 2026. It brings together users, developers, contributors, companies and local communities from across Asia. Since starting in Japan in 2016, the conference has been hosted in Japan, Indonesia and China.
PostgreSQL turns 30 as a global open-source project this year. To mark the occasion, the 2026 edition aims to reconnect communities across the region, showcase real-world PostgreSQL use and lay the groundwork for future collaboration in Asia.
