香港開源青年計劃透過推動青年人和學生多參予開放源碼計劃，從而為開源社群訓練更多人才(包括透過開放源碼文化可接觸到的非資訊科技的專才，如設計、語文、管理、科學、商業等)，歡迎學生和青年人參與。(2017/2018年度將於2018年4月8日截止)
Alvis 參加過 2016 年度的香港開源青年計劃，當年得獎後，他到了首爾和台北參加 PyCon 亞洲峰會和台灣開源人年會，然後寫了這篇分享這轉開源旅途。
