It is a busy month for Open Source community in August this year. Members of Open Source Hong Kong will travel to Taipei and attend COSCUP this weekend - the largest Open Source Conference in Taiwan.

It is a busy month for Open Source community in August this year. Members of Open Source Hong Kong will travel to Taipei and attend COSCUP this weekend - the largest Open Source Conference in Taiwan. Mayor of Taipei City MD. Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) will also a speaker at COSCUP this year with other famous persons in tech industry and professionals.
Our members will give debrief (Cantonese) of COSCUP on Thursday next week in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong people are living and working among the world. Adrian will share about a topic of python for parallel processing at Hong Kong Python User Group meetup on 8/14. Chung-hong Chan (Chairsaw / 陳電鋸) will give his farewell lecture to Hong Kong R User Group on 8/26. OSHK will support both of above events and conducted in English.
PyCon HK also announced next conference date: 4-5 November, and Call For Proposals starts today until 8/24. It includes PyData and general python topics.
